The Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) is a Dutch government scholarship funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It supports mid-career professionals from India to pursue short courses, tailor-made training, or full Masters degrees at Dutch universities – with full tuition, airfare, living allowance, and health insurance covered.

OKP Eligibility Criteria for Indian Applicants

  • Nationality: Indian citizen (India is on the OKP eligible country list)
  • Employment: Must be currently employed (government, NGO, private sector)
  • Mid-career: Typically 5+ years work experience after Bachelor degree
  • Field: Priority sectors – Water management, Agriculture and food, Health, Security and Rule of Law
  • English: IELTS 6.0+ or equivalent
  • Employer endorsement: Letter from current employer confirming return
  • Commitment to return: Must return to India after completing the programme
