Glasgow Caledonian University is one of Scotland’s largest universities. It was formed in 1993 by the merger of The Queen’s College, Glasgow (founded in 1875) and Glasgow Polytechnic (founded in 1971).

 

It is situated in the Glasgow city center in Scotland, the GCU campus has world-class infrastructure and offers a plethora of amenities. Saltire Centre is a major highlight of the campus and houses the university library which includes over 350 computers, thousands of books, 1200 study spaces, special collections, and the university’s archives.

Santander Universities UG Scholarship – GCU are happy to announce that we have great
scholarships from Santander Universities designed to help school and college leavers looking to study
a full ime program at GCU commencing September 2020

GFG Foundation STEM Scholarship – Glasgow Caledonian University is one of the first UK
universities to benefit from a STEM scholarship program worth £1,250 every year of study designed to
help school and college leavers studying an undergraduate program relating to Engineering.

Retail RIGHT Undergraduate Scholarship – Retail RIGHT scholarships help support the next
generation of fashion retail talent. Scholarships worth £1,250 for living and support costs for students
studying BA (Hons) International Fashion Branding or BA (Hons) Fashion Design with Business

Carnegie Trust UG Tuition Fee Grants – Undergraduate Grants from the Carnegie Trust can pay your tuition fees if SAAS are not, open to Home students and those that meet the criteria

Moffat Scholarship – Outstanding applicants wishing to attend GCU to study Travel, Tourism or
Events programmes can apply for a scholarship to support them in their studies.

ICAS Bursary – Launched in 2012, the ICAS Foundation aims to support academically talented
young people from disadvantaged communities into university to study Finance or accountancy related
degrees through the provision of mentoring and financial assistance.

The RUk Common Good Scholarship – Scotland has so much to offer as a study destination and for successful undergraduate applicants from England, Wales and Northern Ireland The Common Good Scholarship provides fee waiver and cash back support to the value of £15K.

New to GCU Scholarship – £4,000 towards full-time undergraduate study for successful international applicants new to the University.

Early Payment Discount – 5% off fees over £5,000 when you pay in full prior to the first day of term.

Student Loyalty Discount – For all other (non international) applicants a healthy 20% discount is available to welcome you back to further study with the University.

International Loyalty Discount – We are welcoming international students back to the University with a generous discount of up to £5,000 off course tuition fees.

Magnusson Award 2020 – The Magnusson Fund offers awards of up to £5,000, supported by donors including Sir Alex Ferguson and Santander.

Scholarships for Postgraduate study

– Postgraduate ambassador studentship – Up to £15,000 fee scholarship to any International student who can demonstrate how they have contributed to the ‘Common Good’ and are looking to commence studies in September 2020 on a Masters course in either our Glasgow or London campus.

– New to GCU scholarship – £2,600 towards full-time postgraduate fees. International applicants only.

– Early payment discount – Fee-paying students can receive a discount of 5% on fees over £5,000 if early payment date is met.

– Scotland’s Saltire scholarship – £8,000 scholarship for citizens of Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Pakistan, USA. studying a full time Masters program.

– Master of Public Health scholarship – £4,500 towards full-time Master of Public Health fees September 2020 and January 2021 intake. International fee-paying applicants only.

– MSc Medical Bioscience Scholarship – GCU are excited to announce our New Msc Medical Bioscience program for September 2020, any International student looking to study the full time program can apply to receive a £4,500 scholarship which will be deducted from your tuition fees

– MRes Biological Sciences Scholarship – We are offering a scholarship worth £4,500 towards tuition fees for the New full time MRes Biological Science program starting in September 2020

– MA TV Fiction Writing scholarship – MA TV Fiction Writing Scholarships covering full tuition costs for UK and EU students or partial scholarships for international students who show particular motivation and talent who are looking to make meaningful contributions to the television industry.

– MSc Climate Justice scholarship – This scholarship offers International students studying MSc Climate Justice funding towards their tuition fees, awards are £5,250 which will be deducted from the cost of tuition fees

– MSc Cyber Security Scholarship – International Students can receive up to £3,500 towards tuition fees for New MSc Cyber Security full ime program commencing September 2020

– Scottish Power scholarship – External Postgraduate scholarship from Scottish Power which could cover all costs of studying one of the selected Engineering or Climate Change program detailed

– MSc Electrical Power Engineering scholarship – The scholarship associated with this program offers full time International students funding towards their tuition fees for the MSc Electrical Power Engineering course commencing September 2020.

* MSc Mechanical Engineering scholarship – This scholarship offers full time international students funding of £3,500 towards their tuition fees for the September 2020 MSc Mechanical Engineering program.

* Glasgow School for Business and Society funded scholarship – GSBS are delighted to introduce new fully funded scholarships for home, EU and rest of UK students for a wide range of our full ime postgraduate program commencing January 2020
